3 Things I Saw

Three yucca plants with flower stalks, growing from bolders at the base of a large cluster of rocks in Joshua Tree National Park.

Photography is one of my loves. Can you see what I see?

The Force

Photo from within a cluster of rocks with a formation that the photographer thinks looks like a monkey face.

There was, in a time when there was no time, a thing we shall call “Force”. Force was everything … and nothing. Force existed yet did not. Force was oblivion and total awareness. Impossible? Yes. But Force WAS.

Heartwise Gem

Southwest blanket on grass with a frame drum with drumstick.

He came to me as a gift of love
And he came to me with the gift of love
He touched my heart and he placed it there
And now it shines for all to see

My Love’s First Language

Photograph of three bright red cactus flowers.

My Love’s first language
So long lost,
Twas most forgotten.
Methinks that in the
Shades of other-time
I once knew this rote and rhyme.

Rainbow

Sunlight sparkles like diamonds from the surface of water and the rocky edge of the shore.

I saw a rainbow in the sky
Now I no longer wonder why

Spirit Temple

Photo of blue sky through the branches of a mesquite tree.

Spirit, my body, your temple, my temple our home
Spirit, my body, your temple, my temple our home

Teach Me

Blue sky with dark clouds and rays of sun shining outward

Teach me to listen Mother
Teach me to listen Father
Teach me to listen Wamachi
I want to hear what you hear
